Tell the Senate Judiciary Committee to Oppose Guest Worker
Amnesty!
As a war rages between U.S. Border Patrol and
smugglers of both humans and drugs along our southern border, the Senate Judiciary
Committee is focused on creating a permanent underclass of citizens, rather than getting
control of our border!
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman, Arlen
Specter (R-PA), has introduced legislation that ignores border security and, instead,
creates a guest worker amnesty program. His bill sets no limits on the number of
"guest workers" or the number of American jobs they can take. Unlike the
Sensenbrenner bill, which passed the House, the Specter bill does not include a border
fence.
Specter's committee will be marking up the bill for the next two weeks before
voting to send it to the floor of the Senate.
What's Going on at the Border? |
"Violence on border
at record high," Washington Times, 3/02/06 |
The
increase in violence on the border cannot be ignored! Instead of pandering to big
business's cry for cheap labor, the Senate should focus on keeping America safe by
securing our borders!
Absolutely NO form of
guest worker programs should be accepted!
Urge Senators to vote against any
bill that includes guest-worker/amnesty programs!
