AB67 Allows Counties to Raise Property Taxes Above Cap

AB67 Allows Counties to levy a separate property tax for public safety, health and welfare services by a 2/3rds vote of the Commission. This new property tax is exempt from the current property tax cap. The increase is not to exceed 10 cents per $100 of the assessed valuation. This is a new grant of power to the counties.
