Food Shortages Here… Prepare While You Can
Dear Friends, daily I am reading about food shortages, supply chain problems, famines, floods, volcanoes, and if you haven’t noticed INFLATION! I will share excerpts from others to show plainly my concerns about food shortages. I will share with you information about how to protect yourself.
The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization has reported an increase in the cost of food worldwide from May 2020 to May 2021 of more than 30%.
The Southwest is facing the worst mega-drought in at least 1,200 years Lake Mead in Southern Nevada is at the lowest level ever since it was filled in 1937. It stands at just 35% of capacity. It provides water for 40 million people. Seventy-five percent of the region is severe drought and 55% experiencing extreme drought.
“Farmers in part of central Arizona will face major cutbacks in water deliveries next year, and they’re preparing for the supplies to be entirely shut off in 2023.” These will be severe for Pinal County which is Arizona’s top producer of cotton, beef and barley.
Lake Mead and Lake Powell (the second largest reservoir on the Colorado River) supply household water, irrigation for farms and hydropower to Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming and parts of Mexico.,
California is the largest producer of food in the U.S and fifth largest in the world. Their climate allows them to produce over 450 different food products from almonds and avocados to rice and strawberries. California produces over one-third of the nation’s vegetables and two-thirds of the fruits and nuts. In the U.S. California is the largest dairy producer.
Oroville Dam, north of Sacramento, is California’s second largest. The hydro-plant has shut down for the first time ever because the water has fallen so low. Unrelenting heat and drought have resulted in Lake Oroville being at alarmingly low levels. 89% of the west is in drought.
These are some major examples of the impact of the 1,000 year mega drought. The cost of food is already rising and some items are becoming much harder to find. There are other natural disasters like floods which are also impacting food production around the world..
INFLATION
Definition: A persistent increase in the level of consumer prices or a persistent decline in the purchasing power of money caused by an increase in the money supply by government. Inflation is exploding as the Biden Money-Printing Economic Policies crush consumers by destroying the value of the dollar.
Earlier this year I bought a case of spring water for $3.29, then it went to $3.99, next to $4.99 now when I checked last week it was $5.89! Several times this year I bought steaks which were on sale for $6.99 a pound from $12.99. Now they are $17.99 a pound and on sale for $12.99 a pound. I am not buying any. I bought Kleenex for $1.69, it is now $2.10. Prices are going up daily.
Fifty years ago Nixon took us off the gold standard. The value of our dollar has fallen since then some 98%. “History is telling us that the explosion of credit and money supply will lead to rapid increases in inflation and interest rates and an even faster fall of the US dollar,” Egon von Greyerz. “When it comes to monetary events, inflation and the currency are totally interdependent. Normally an economy will be sound when the currency is sound. And the currency is sound when the economy is sound. Sounds pretty simple doesn’t it. But then why has no currency ever survived in history? And why has every economy collapsed when the currency has collapsed?”
“…when governments and central banks interfere in the natural cycles of ebb and flow, the world is more likely to have disorder even in the good times and chaos in the bad times.” We are in the bad times. Don’t believe the private Federal Reserve Bank when they tell you that inflation is temporary. We are headed for hyper-inflation. Well, enough bad news.
What To Do To Protect Yourself and PREPARE
Every item of food that you buy today will cost more tomorrow, in a week or month. So every dollar you spend now on food is a good investment and will lower your over all food bill as you go forward. It will also help to make you independent from the government which will use food to force you to do what they want. This is already happening in France where people who have not taken the covid shot are locked out of grocery stores. Vaccine passports are on the horizon here in the U.S. So prepare to be self sufficient. Buy what you will eat and will use. Date every item with a sharpie pen so you can rotate. Day-by-day, week-by-week, your money will be worth less. Invest now.
Of course there are lots of foods which will last for months even years at the grocery stores. Choose the ones which will last. Fill up your freezer when something is on sale.
You can also buy long term storage which lasts 10 to 25 years at numerous places. My WalMart has a section with number 10 cans (the large gallon size) with dehydrated and freeze dried foods from Emergency Essentials/Auguson Farms. We have many difficult issues facing us, election fraud, the economy, loss of liberties, but if you cannot take care of yourself, your basic needs, you will not be self-sufficient enough or independent enough to fight for liberty. Start by getting enough for a week, a month then 3 months. Time is short and inflation is increasing every day. The money you have in the bank is losing value each and every day. Food storage is insurance and independence.
Sit down and write up a list of what you need for some simple meals you will eat, like oatmeal for breakfast, peanut butter sandwiches or soup for lunch and spaghetti for dinner. Then buy the things you need at the grocery store to make them.
Make a list of what you use every day and every week and then stock up on those items, such as, tooth paste, TP, soap, dish and laundry detergent, deodorant. Do you want to do without them?
Don’t forget water. You need in an emergency, 1 gallon per person per day for two weeks and include your pets. You also need a way to purify water like unscented Clorox. (Use 8 drops per gallon.) Supply Chain problems for Food and Other Items
In looking at recent comments by Kamala Harris, we see that the Biden regime obviously knows something we do not, because when discussing global supply chain shortages, she said "The stories that we are now hearing about the caution that if you want to have Christmas toys for your children, it might now be the time to start buying them, because the delay may be many, many months." www.allnewspipeline.com
According to Bloomberg, some of the largest U.S. food distributors are "reporting difficulties in fulfilling orders as a lack of workers weighs on the supply chain." Take distribution giant Sysco, North America’s largest wholesale food distributor, which is turning away customers in some areas where demand is exceeding capacity. Worse, food inflation is about to soar: the company said prices for key goods such as chicken, pork and paper products for takeout packaging are climbing amid tight supplies. www.zerohedge.com

The Question is Why?
Why is the Government pushing us to be vaccinated with the large number of deaths and vaccine injuries? Why is the government pushing covid passports? In the video link below Catherine Austin Fitts is interviewed on High Wire with Del Bigtree. Fitts is a former US Housing Undersecretary and the CEO of Solari.com. I have long appreciated her insightful and honest assessments.
In this interview she makes it clear that the real objective of covid is control of the population by the corrupt communist government now in charge and in league with the Banksters/Globalists. The bottom line is they plan to impose a vaccine passport and digital currency on us in order to have complete control over us. She says we will not be able to travel 5 miles from our home if they don’t allow it or even buy a pizza. In my opinion she is very accurate in her assessment. It sounds just like the” mark of the beast”…from Revelations…you will not be able to buy or sell without it. Perhaps I will be viewed as an alarmist, but I am alarmed and telling you what I see coming so that you can prepare.
